The Holidays are Here Again at the Burkholder Pop Up Holiday Market!
If you are looking for a fun place to get your Christmas tree and enjoy some family-friendly holiday activities in Malvern, look no further. Burkholder Brothers’ Pop Up Holiday Market will have its grand opening weekend this Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. The event, held at the Outdoor Showroom and Design Center, offers freshly cut Pennsylvania-grown Christmas trees, as well as wreaths, faux trees, and a large assortment of unique gifts.
Visitors can enjoy hot chocolate, roasted marshmallows, and for adults, complimentary wine and beer are available this year. Santa has some scheduled visits as well during the event, which will continue through December 24.
Asked why Burkholder offers this holiday event, owner Mark Burkholder replied, “We are a community business and we want to create a fun, family-friendly event for our customers. Residents can come in and get their family tree locally, as well as make some memories around a fire pit or find gifts that are unique. The event is a great chance for Main Line residents to meet their neighbors, enjoy a beverage, and watch the kids have fun.”
Aside from the Christmas tree sale, the Holiday Market has some special sales events planned in the gift shop. Ornaments, decorations, and pillows are just a few of the items available for purchase and at the Grand Opening on Black Friday, Burkholder will offer 30% off on faux wreaths and lanterns.
The Grand Opening weekend will also host a PTO Day for The West Chester Friends School. Supporters of the school can join the fun on Sunday, November 25, and Burkholder will donate 10% of their purchases to the PTO.
Burkholder Designer Mary Bowe is looking forward to the event as well. She commented, “Last year’s event was such a great experience. We met so many of the local residents and we have had many of them tell us they are planning to visit our Holiday Market again this year. Events like this give us a broader picture of our community, and knowing our customers makes it easier for us to serve them.”
