    How do I know if my lawn needs aeration or overseeding?

    Aeration and overseeding are both essential for a healthy lawn to replenish growth and revitalize the soil. Some signs that aeration and overseeding are needed are bare areas that get worse each year, thin areas that always have weed issues, recurring insect or disease damage and uneven growth and appearance. Over time all lawns need some extra work to get new growth going and damaged areas will get worse each year if they are not addressed. This degradation can be due to several factors that are addressed through this process such as a buildup of thatch, soil compaction and stunted root growth. Aeration can relieve soil compaction, open up space for roots to grow and remove thatch buildup. Thatch is a layer of dead material where lawn diseases and damaging insects will thrive over time. With thin areas thickening the lawn through aeration and overseeding is the best way to prevent weeds as it gives them less room to germinate and grow.

    How often should professional lawn care services be scheduled?

    All services should be scheduled according to the given season and what the lawn needs at that time. We outline the rough time frame for when each service will be done but it all depends on how the conditions are progressing each season and are timed to be the most beneficial to your lawn.

    Will I be able to talk to someone about my yard in between visits?

    In addition to the visits for treatments we also conduct evaluations throughout the year to see how the lawn is progressing and what we can do to be proactive with any issues. We are always available for on site meetings and consultations to address any questions or concerns.

    How will we know when your crews will show up?

    Before any applications you will receive an email detailing what we are applying and when along with how it benefits the lawn. If the scheduled date is not convenient we can always reschedule for a better time.

    Do you offer free estimates for landscape maintenance?
