Seasonal Sales AssociateOur family owned & operated business is seeking part-time, seasonal help for our 3rd Annual Holiday Market. As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you will provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to our customers. While this position is primarily focused on assisting customers, as a Seasonal Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing support on the cash register, restocking merchandise and assisting our Lead Buyer with responsibilities throughout the showroom.
The schedule for the Seasonal Sales Associate will consist of three (3) days a week, Wednesday through Sunday, including some weekend shifts. *Shifts on Saturday and Sunday start 30 minutes prior to opening time to prepare for day.
Holiday Market Hours of Operation:
November 11 through November 27
Wednesday through Sunday: 11am to 4pm*
November 29 through December 24
Wednesday & Thursday: 11am to 6pm
Friday: 11am to 7pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am to 5pm*
December 26 through December 28
Wednesday through Sunday: 11am to 6pm*
- Greet and assist customers upon store entry
- Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency and professionalism
- Effectively communicate sales/promotional items or upcoming events
- Accurately and professionally process sales transactions utilizing a square point of sale system
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment for customers
- Inform Lead Buyer of facility and merchandise needs promptly
- Assist with setting up and replacing merchandise displays on the showroom floor
- Treat all employees and customers with respect and maintain a positive work environment
- Comply with all established company policies and procedures
Skills and Behaviors:
- 1+ years retail sales, customer service or equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends and evenings
- Highly engaged and upbeat attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently as needed
- Experience with square retail POS system a plus
- Hourly rate of $12.00 to $15.00 per hour
